It sort of works, but don't expect too much in the way of dramatic results. Possibly I had unrealistic expectations, but for the price of the stuff I expected better. I lined virtually the entire cab of a diesel ute with the Dynamat Extreme, then covered the floor and doors in Dynaliner. Cost about a thousand dollars all up! Not worth it. The Dynamat does take out resonance, and the biggest single improvement was putting it in the doors. Didn't make a lot of difference on the floor. The Dynaliner soaks up reverberation and improved noise transference from the floor and rear wall a bit. Neither product is sound PROOFING, they don't keep it out, they are sound DEADENING and soak it up, to a degree. They work best on high-frequency sound and diesels produce a lot of low-frequency noise so I was never going to get silence (unless maybe I bought a few hundred kilos of sheet lead or something) but I wouldn't do it again. Interesting experience though. At a cost.
