I purchased a set of four Laufenn LK03 tyres for my Subaru Legacy GT wagon. They replaced Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Initial impression of the Laufenn's is that they're quieter and less harsh than the Michelins. Grip and handling seem pretty good for the price. The car is possibly just a little bit more twitchy in the wet than with the Michelins, but not enough to warrant spending way more $$$ on Michelins considering this is our family transport machine, not a racing car. The tyre fitter noted that the Laufenn LK03 is made from a soft compound, so these tyres are likely to wear quite fast. It would be useful if Hyper Drive included the wear rating information for the tyres on the website to allow for more informed decision making on tyres.
