I was a little nervous about going cheap(er) but knowing that 30K was about as good as I'll get there was no point in keeping on buying expensive tyres.
The Atlas UHP have worked out really well - they're on a Mondeo ST-Line bi-turbo so 450Nm on the front wheels & a lead foot. They do need a bit of running in, headed up the Brynderwyns as drizzle started after only 1-200K & they were slightly skittish under pressure in corners but since then they've settled in after 5-500km & are every bit as good as significantly more expensive brands.
It helps that it was a stunning deal from Hyperdrive & great help from Dayna to help me through the options
