For a while now i have thought tyres were mainly brand hype marketing crap. In my younger days i ran conti's, pirelli, sport pilots, etc and they cost an absolute fortune. Make no mistake they are great tyres and make a fantastic addition to your car. I currently run a Mazda 6 which has 225x45x19 tyres which are incredibly expensive. I had been running bridgestone turanza at nearly $500 a tyre. I was convinced by another Mazda 3 owner to try the triangle tyres. I have to say they are great. I have read lots of crap about how they are no good in the wet, dont have the stopping distance, blah, blah, blah. Maybe that might be true if you are a Lewis Hamilton wannabe taking it to the max. For most people who just drive normally and just go about their business they will be perfect. At $700 fitted for all 4 wheels my wallet thanks me and so does my wife.. I have to say they are quiet, grippy (even in the wet) and handle great. Infact i prefer them to the bridgstones. Hope that helps with your decision.
