This product exceeded my expectations for sure! For the price I was hesitant about build / sound quality but after looking at reviews decided to bite the bullet. The full alloy construction makes it durable and resistant to general damages etc. And the 8 inch subwoofer packs a punch for the size as well. I initially had it set up in the back of my car and was happy with the perfomance for the size of the unit. I previously had a 12 inch sub and expected this unit to under perform. The unit has good sound quality and good frequency ranges from 20hz to 150hz. The remote makes it easy to change bass without any hassle. You do need to buy a wiring kit for this sub as it is not included so do this at the same time you buy the sub so you don't get mad (like other people who forget/ didn't know). I just installed this into my daily car and mounted it under the passenger seat. The sub has plenty of room and is mounted with the included velcro. I found that it sounded terrible compared to having it in the boot, this was because I didn't use the phase shift button... Once I pressed the button it sounded exactly the same as in the boot (where I has it previously installed). The sub has a 150W RMS rating and goes great for the size, I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to have that quality bass experience that stock car speakers can't provide. I personally would buy 2 units instead of 1 more expensive as their is more utility (setting different frequencies, taking it out and installing in another car etc).
