Outdated design… This rack doesn’t accomodate modern geometry of MTB’s with sloping top tubes. This means your front wheel will almost be hitting the road while the back wheel is up high. Even worse with 29” wheels which are pretty common these days. Also the racks arms are too wide apart fit inside many frames. This was a prob for both my bike (Specialized frame size large) and my wife’s bike (Giant frame size medium). Thule gear is well made with high quality materials - but in this case fails to perform the basic job of carrying a normal MTB safely.
