GREAT head unit, until you drive into a busy city area and the wireless Android Auto repeatedly cuts out. Hoping that a firmware update can fix this issue. No other problems besides this one. The screen is crisp, bright, and very easy to use. Don't bother with the digital radio antennae, as this never lasted long in NZ and was discontinued a few years ago now, so you don't need to install that. Everything else is worthwhile, however (there is also a Kenwood CMOS 740HD camera you can install as an optional extra, and this could be worthwhile if your car has an out-of-date reverse camera. My 2011 vehicle has a camera that is showing its limitations, in low light it is next to useless. Once I get the Kenwood camera installed, I'll be able to comment on that). I use Android Auto with this system so cannot comment on the Apple side of things, but the overall experience is excellent, although sometimes the Google Assistant is a bit poor at picking up my responses - I suspect this is more an issue of my car's stock microphone needing replacing though. The 10+ inch screen really makes this head unit incredible, the UI navigation is easy to adapt to, and Google Maps being on a screen this size makes driving into unfamiliar areas much less hassle. I thoroughly recommend this as an upgrade over any stock head unit, especially if the wireless Android Auto disconnecting issue is fixed in a firmware update. Until that is confirmed, I'll give this 4.5/5 but will update to 5/5 if the fix is available.
