These tyres were the cheapest option from the "good brands" at the time of purchase (i.e. avoiding any Chinese brands, etc.). Safety is more important to me than saving a few dollars, when a set of tyres is likely to last me five years or more. I deducted one star because they're noticeably noisier than the Yokohama ES32 tyres they replaced on this 2012 Toyota Yaris.
